Configuration Analyst 2 - ABIS (C672)

Global Technology Solutions, Inc  is seeking personnel for a rewarding opportunity supporting the US Army Enterprise ABIS contract in Fairmont, WV.

 Reports to:  N/A

Supervises: N/A

Location:  Farimont, WV

Education required: BA degree or equivalent experience is required. Plus, three years of working experience in information technology.

Responsibilities:

Effectively tracking, logging, categorizing, and maintaining changes made against the accepted ABIS baseline(s). Developing, distributing, and tracking all change packages resulting from approved Configuration Control Board action. Provides daily support and direction to staff as to CM tools, change status requirements, deadlines, and problems.

Experience, Skills and Background required:

Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be customer and detail oriented and possess good decision-making abilities. Current knowledge of CM best practices including CMMI-compliant techniques. Current knowledge of automated CM tools. Desired: Administrative experience with IBM Rational Tools.

Special Requirements:

Must be a U.S. citizen and able to qualify for a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
