Portico Helpdesk (TSS)
Reports to: Program/Project Manager
Supervises: N/A
Education required: Must have a Bachelor of Science in
an IT discipline (3 years of IT experience may be
substituted) and 5 years of relevant IT experience.
Industry IT certification is required.
Location: Elkridge, MD (Crystal City, VA starting on 8
May 06)
Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be a member of
a helpdesk team supporting a government off the shelf
software application called Portico. Qualified individuals
will be courteous, have good verbal and written
communication skills, and have the ability to assist
customers over the phone with computer issues. They must be
proficient with the windows desktop environment. Unix
desktop familiarity is a bonus. Experience supporting web
based applications is desired, but not a disqualifying
factor as training on the application will be provided.
Sound basic computer support skills are a must!
Experience, Skills and Background required:
Five years
of relevant IT experience and industry IT certification is
required.
